Is it supposed to be this confusing to feel well?

You’ve probably heard it all before:“Just eat better.” “Go for a walk.” “Stress less.” But no one really talks about how confusing, heavy, and isolating it can feel when you're trying to do all the “right” things yet something still feels off. Like you're following the rules but your body didn't get the memo?
Maybe you've started a dozen "perfect" routines that lasted exactly 4 days, or even felt guilty for not loving salads as much as Instagram says you should. Perhaps wondered why you're still tired even though you're "doing everything right"
Here's what I've learned: Real health doesn't happen in before-and-after photos. It's in the messy middle where most of us actually live. That space where some days you meal prep like a champ, other days you eat cereal for dinner (and that's okay). Energy levels sometimes make no logical sense, and motivation comes and goes.
The truth is, we've been sold this idea that being healthy looks a certain way. But what if it's really about:
🔹 Listening to your body more than influencers
🔹 Finding small things that work for YOUR life
🔹 Remembering that progress isn't linear
I don't have perfect answers. But I do know this - when we stop pretending and start sharing what really works (and what really doesn't), everything gets easier. Consistency not perfection!
So let's talk:
What's one thing about your health journey that feels confusing or frustrating right now? Is it the mixed messages? The all-or-nothing trap? Just finding what works for YOU?
(For me? I'll never understand how some people actually enjoy very early morning workouts. Some mysteries remain unsolved)
